Wondering if you can put green waste or a mattress in our skip bins?

You’ll be glad to learn that almost all types of commercial and residential rubbish are considered allowable wastes.

However, these 3 types of wastes are not permitted in the skip bins.

Skip Bin Rules: don’t put these 3 types of waste in the bins:

1. Liquids
2. Foods
3. Chemicals or Hazardous Wastes

And that’s it. Everything else should be good to go. Thank you.

Filling a skip efficiently: Skips can be filled to the top of the bin only.

Overloading skip bins is a dangerous thing to do. Not only this, but it also creates OHS concerns for employees and other roadside situations.

*Overloaded bins will not be collected.
